We’ve finally taken delivery of Treks new belt-drive bikes, the District single-speed (with it’s very own dedicated blog here) & the Soho hub-geared, hub-brake ‘urban assault vehicle’.

Both bikes utilise a Gates Carbon Drive belt that is brutally tough yet cleaner than any chain you’ve ever owned (the same stuff they make Harley Davidson timing-belts with). The head of Gates Corporation has been using the same belt on his bike for an incredible 18 YEARS!

So if low/no maintenance riding sounds like your bag, drop into the shop and take one for a test ride.
